Mandy Hubbard
Founder and Agent
Mandy began her publishing career on the other side of the desk–as an author. Her debut novel, Prada and Prejudice, was published by Penguin’s Razorbill books imprint in 2009, and went on to appear in TIME magazine and Entertainment Weekly. She has since written 10 other novels, published by Harlequin, Flux, and Bloomsbury. Her work has been translated into a half dozen languages and optioned for film.

Linda Epstein
Senior Agent
Linda is at the helm of the Emerald City Literary Agency east coast office. It’s still true that although she’s been a life-long New Yorker, her breath is taken away every time she views the New York City skyline. Besides being an agent, Linda also writes books for children and teens, poetry for adults, and teaches creative writing.

Garrett Alwert
Associate Agent
Prior to joining Emerald City Literary, Garrett graduated from Washington State University with a degree in business. He played professional baseball and worked as a contractor until he found his true passion in publishing. In 2016 he began interning for Mandy Hubbard then became Agency Assistant before being promoted to Associate Agent.

Caitlin White
Associate Agent
Caitlin is a writer and editor who was previously the Interim Books Editor for Bustle, and she has written about YA books for HelloGiggles, Bustle, Elle, and Glamour. Caitlin brought her passion for YA and MG to Emerald City Literary Agency in 2019 as an intern before being promoted to Associate Agent. She currently lives in Ottawa, Ontario, but is from the Boston area.

D.Ann Williams
Associate Agent
D. Ann is a queer Black American writer, writing coach for WNDB Black Creatives Revision Workshop, sensitivity reader, and freelance editor with 10+ years’ experience. She has worked with all big 5 publishers, indie publishers, and self-published authors on a variety of adult and kidlit manuscripts. D. Ann brought her passion for kidlit to Emerald City Literary Agency in 2021 as an intern before being promoted to Associate Agent. She is a member of SCBWI, Sisters in Crime, and Crime Writers of Color. Originally from SoCal, she now lives in Oregon where she spends her days reading, writing, and taking photos.
